To create means to use the imagination. All humans have this ability. I believe it is what separates us from the rest of the animal kingdom, that and our ability to reason, which are directly tied together.

When I set out to create Robert Redd all those many years ago, it all came from my imagination.

Now, I have heard it said, "I have never had an original thought in my life." This is usually announced by someone attempting to demonstrate a level of humility. I certainly appreciate the notion, but I think it is also untrue. Most people are capable of original thoughts. And being capable of and acknowledging that power and talent doesn't make one an ego-maniac. Quite the opposite, I argue.

With that knowledge comes great responsibility, because whatever we can imagine, we can create. At some level anyway and that is an awesome power.

Whether it is a building, a painting, a floral arrangement, a brand, a design of some kind or a speech; imaging those things requires a great deal of focus, energy, risk, mistakes and faith.

In creating Robert Redd I have had to surmount a tremendous amount of fears and challenges. In all cases, I used my imagination to resolve these issues. My imagination is powerful. Very powerful. I use it for good. I use it for healing and I use it for growth.

In the Legend of Robert Redd, our hero is considered a smuggler of ideas. And this is one of those ideas that I feel everyone must get in touch with to create their best self and their ideal reality. Use your imagination to manifest your dreams!

Here's to you with future adventures in mind...
